TMF Top 20 Hottest Young Actors

Best acting performances: as Richard Samuels in Me and Orson Welles and as Troy Bolton in the High School Musical series.
Best acting performances: as Paulie Bleeker in Juno, as Evan in Superbad, as Nick in Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist.
Best acting performances: As Danny in Dummy, as Robbie in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and as Owen in Nearly Famous.
Best acting performances: As Harry Potter in the JK Rowling's HP Tales, as Maps in December Boys and as John Kipling in My Boy Jack.
Best acting performances: as Young Antonio in A Guide to Recognizing your Saints, as Tyler Gage in Step Up, as Sgt. Steve Shriver in Stop-Loss.
Best acting performances: As Bruno, the young and confused teen who decided to sell his child in the award-winning L’ Enfant, as Jean, the Nazi-prosecuted homosexual in Un amour à taire, as Thomas d'Apcher in the horror-thriller Brotherhood of the Wolf and more recently as Luc Cornet in Joe Wright’s Atonement.
Best acting performances: as Charlie in Charlie Bartlett, as Zack Mazurski in Alpha Dog, as Tommy in House of D.
Best acting performances: as Jack Burridge in Boy A, as Todd Hayes in Lions for Lambs and as Anton in The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus.
Best acting performances: as Howie in L.I.E., as Dwayne in Little Miss Sunshine, as Paul/Eli Sunday in There Will Be Blood, as Brian in Gigantic.
Best acting performances: As Theo in The Dreamers, as Ismaël Bénoliel in Love Songs and as Pierre, the Son in Ma Mere.
Best acting performances: As Stanley, the wrongfully convicted boy sent to a brutal desert detention camp in Hole, as the young Ditto in A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints and as Sam Witwicky in Michael Bay's Transformer.
Best acting performances: Hirsch certainly made a good number of breakthrough performances, but I have to say his role in Sean Penn's Into The Wild is his best so far- as adventurer Chris McCandless. Also worth mentioning is his role in Imaginary Heroes as the younger son of Jeff Daniels and Sigourney Weaver, the emotionally traumatized Tim Travis.
Best acting performances: Of all the young actors, Jamie Bell is the most consistent. I have never seen a bad performance from Bell. Among his movies, I would ranked his performance as Billy Elliot to be his finest ever. I would watch this movie even now and would have the same kind of enthusiasm and excitement. His recent movie, Hallam Foe (Mr. Foe), ranks a close second, followed by his powerful portrayal as the young teen Chris Munn in David Gordon Green's Undertow.
Best acting performances: I'm afraid some of you have not seen Half-Nelson yet. I would certainly encourage you to see it, and judge for yourself what sort of acting Ryan Gosling is capable of. But I'm pretty sure you've already seen The Notebook and you know for a fact that he is an awesome actor, and playing the romantic interest of Rachel McAdams certainly added more excitement to it. But there's another indie movie that really made me realize the calibre of Ryan Gosling in terms of acting vis-a-vis the best in the industry: as Danny Balint in The Believer.
Best acting performances: His Oscar nominated role in Brokeback Mountain is certainly his best role so far. As Jack Twist, he brought so much credibility into the character, it completely complements the emotional pain and anguish of Ennis del Mar, played by the late Heath Ledger. Coming in second is the cult hit, Donnie Darko where he played the title character. Also worth mentioning is David Fincher's Zodiac where Jake plays Robert Graysmith, who happens to be the author where the movie was based.
Best acting performances: In My Brother Tom, Ben Whishaw provided us with a glimpse into the future. Here is one of the UK's most promising young talents at his finest. A few years later, he plays Jean Baptiste Grenouille, the perfumer and murderer in Tom Tykwer's Perfume, one of the most expensive movies ever produced in Germany. Just this year, he added another dimension to his on-screen persona by playing Lord Sebastian Flyte in the latest adaptation of Brideshead Revisited.
Best acting performances: His intense and credible portrayal as a British Government spy in Fifty Dead Men Walking would certainly give Jim Sturgess some extra mileage come award season, but he's already a big winner on our list. Very few actors can sing and act with credibility, but Jim Sturgess managed to produce an amazing performance in Julie Taymor's Across The Universe, where Jim played one of the leads, Jude.
Best acting performances: After a hustling gig that turned violent, we see Neil (Gordon-Levitt) silently licking his wounds as he stared at his bruises and cuts, silently he cries – he must have realized he’s all alone and that there’s no one to help him or even listen to him… Such was the performance of Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Greg Arakki’s Mysterious Skin, that almost all critics agreed- Levitt is the young actor to watch!
Best acting performances: Aside from Strayed where he played the mysterious teen Jean Delgas (Yvan), he was also noted for his role as Manech, the long lost lover of Audrey Tautou in A Very Long Engagement. But for me, his best performance as an emerging talent is in Jacquo le Croquant. I have always been a big fan of French films and have seen some of the early movies of Alain Delon and Jean Paul Belmondo. I would dare say, Gaspard is certainly capable of matching these old acting legends in terms of charm, talent and popularity.
Best acting performance: In Oliver Irving's How To Be, the main character Art comes to life courtesy of Robert Pattinson. It's funny how some actors can surprise you with their interpretation of certain characters, especially if you're a fan and has already made up your own perception of the actor. It's hard to be funny and tragic all at the same time, with almost the same degree of intensity. In this movie, Pattinson did all that.

I'm disappointed in Zefron, Michael Cera and Shia's rankings. Personally they're a lot higher. =)
