Birthday girl nearly loses her dress after a night out

 

She's normally the quiet one who keeps a low profile while her mouthier bandmates take centre stage.

But Nicola Roberts really let her hair - and very nearly her dress - down after a night out to celebrate her 23rd birthday.

The evening started well, with the Girls Aloud star arriving at London's Wellington Club looking groomed and glamorous.

Her two-tone minidress showed off plenty of leg, and a large rose pinned in the centre helped set off her sleek, bright red bob.

But as she emerged from the club hours later, the dishevelled singer struggled to stop the dress falling down.

At one stage, she flashed a fraction too much flesh and tugged her outfit up.

With her complexion showing signs of a long night out, the birthday girl was unsteady on her feet as friends bundled her into a waiting car.

Nicola - who told the Observer Magazine that she is 'ready for single-life carnage' - looked decidedly ready for bed at the end of the evening, but her bandmate Sarah Harding appeared wide awake.

The 26-year-old party girl angrily stuck two fingers up at photographers before heading home.

I dunno how celebrities can pull off those dresses in this cold. I mean, I know they're going into the warm room. But if I look out of the window and see the weather is shit, at least I wear a fucking cardigan or my coat.

Ugh, I just went back home for our universities homecoming and EVERY girl I saw was wearing a teeny-tiny dress with NO coat or scarves or anything. It was like, 0 degrees (celcius) and I wanted them to get hypothermia.

But seriously, thousands of girls walking around dressed inappropriately for the weather makes me want to smack them and talk some sense into them.
