Last night, Avril came on TV while I was eating dinner with my host family. They all love her, and were shocked when I was like "EW".

Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Cameron Diaz, and Nicole Richie also seem to be really popular here.

seriously, I agree.
I guess it's because over here, we don't put much thought in to making the outfit look good. As in, wearing accessories and going the whole nine yards with the outfit.
