i'm concerned why her parents did not petition for the male lead to be re-cast with someone younger so it would not be disgusting.

You guys this movie was kind of cute. I actually enjoyed it. The age thing is kinda creepy and I didn't buy Selena or Drew as high school seniors at all, but that was ignorable. Selena really is the best actress out of the three Disney girls. This movie was wayyyy better than Camp Rock, but that is not a difficult feat.

i saw this movie online and the whole time I felt very very uncomfortable during the ~sexual tension~ moments between them. Why not Brenda Song for this? Googly eyes/big head isn't a bad cheesy movie actress, but she is a pretty terrible dancer - she looks like a baby giraffe wobbling on its legs after standing up for the first time, srsly
