Oasis announce one-off UK show for next month

Band warm-up for tour with special gig



Oasis are set to play a one-off UK show at the Eden Project in Cornwall.

The Gallaghers and co will play the show, ahead of the full UK tour, on September 27.

Tickets for the gig, which will be filmed for broadcast on MTV, are only available via the official Oasis website Oasisinet.com.

Fans must register on the site, with tickets been allocated via a draw.

Registration opens at noon Friday (August 29) - coincidentally exactly 14 years to the day that the band's debut album 'Definitely Maybe' was released - and remains open for a week (September 5).

Successful applicants will be notified on September 8 and will have a period of four days to purchase up to two tickets for the show.

The band's new album 'Dig Out Your Soul' is released on October 6.

A DJ from a local station had them as his first ever interview, and from the few clips I've heard, Noel was so fucking mean to him :(

Also, for the station ID, he said he was the bassist from Coldplay...

That's surprising, I *rarely* hear interviews where Noel is mean. Liam is a jerk almost 24/7 - but Noel is so funny!!!

I'm seeing them in Winnipeg on the 1st and I don't give a shit what they do as long as they play Gas Panic. It could be the shittest concert but I wouldn't care as long as they played my favourite song.

Dude, everyone loves Gas Panic, and I have to say, although I love *ALL* Oasis songs, it's the one I like the least.

I'd really like to see them do something from Be Here Now, but apparently they have forsaken that album. :(

I kinda tune out for the first 40 seconds, come in the chorus, and it gets better from there. :) it's one of the great songs where the brothers voices sound so pretty together :)
