Eva Longoria Parker's boss has spilled the beans! "Eva is desperately trying to get pregnant with [husband] Tony Parker," Desperate Housewives' creator and executive producer Marc Cherry told Us Weekly in its latest issue, on newsstands now. "After they phone their doctor, she promised me I will be the next call," he added. The 33-year-old actress is getting a practice pregnancy run at work. "Gaby is having a very tough time being the mother of two overweight, hyperactive children," Cherry revealed of the show's next season, which advances five years. "But Eva is having a marvelous time playing her!" The Parkers wed last year. In a 2007 interview with Le Parisien newspaper, Tony Parker said he was eager to have children as quickly as possible. "That would be even better than my NBA titles, even if I don't compare private life and sports," he said. "Eva talks to me about it all the time. I'd like to have girls, because I come from a world of boys."

I have a season-one book that has interviews and episodes synopses and shit, and I remember her saying (in S1) "please don't make me pregnant" to Marc Cherry, and he asked when she was planning to IRL and she said "in about five years" and he said "oh, honey, you're gonna have to be pregnant before S5!" But I guess everything kinda worked out, since she was only pregnant briefly in S2 or whatever. :P

...As long as she and Carlos are still together, I'm good. But if they make it seem like Carlos couldn't possibly be a good parent and that's why she's so overwhelmed, I'm gonna be kind of offended.
