There was this one episode of The Bernie Mac show where Bernie and the kids were playing pranks on each other and one of the pranks the kids pulled on him was putting a mouse in his room. When Bernie was in his bedroom he saw the mouse and jumped up on his bed on all fours with his butt up in the air, then his eyes rolled back in his head and he tipped over, passing out.
It was SO damn funny.

Other than Don and George, I don't think the rest of the cast were friends with him. I think they both released statements expressing their sadness though.

I personally wouldn't want to go on Larry King to discuss a friend's death, and I couldn't see Don or George doing it either.

He had a chronic lung condition called sarchoidosis (spelling is likely wrong). Says so at the bottom of the screen. Just because someone dies of pneumonia these days doesn't mean they have AIDS.
