the new Noah Newman on Y&R!


Starting August 13, actor Kevin Schmidt will take on the role as the rapidly aged Noah Newman on The Young and the Restless. The actor is most famous for his roles in the Cheaper by the Dozen franchises as one of the members of Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt's growing brood.

As reported two months ago, the previous Noah Newman played by Hunter Allen's last tape date was May 20 and the character has been only heard offscreen by his parents away at summer camp.

No word yet on what his storyline will be but, some say the adult Noah may be involved with the 20 something sect on Y&R.

i read that the kid who played Noah before him did not leave the set of Y&R quietly. allegedly he started screaming and then made a scene when he found out he was being replaced.

Rapidly aging kids is soooo stupid. I hate when they have a kid and then BANG three years later the kid is only 10 years younger then their parents. STUPID.

Well this is all kinds of confusing. If he's an adult then Nick and Sharon obviously had him when they were 12. (I kid... kind of.)

I remember when they did that with Nick's character in like 1992 or 1993. He left a wee one and came back as the Nick we know now. Curious.

I love that show, though!
