plus, Colbert put him on the show and let him rap about Fox being shitty, and gave him a forum to talk about the racism...I actually thought Colbert broke character a bit in not ribbing Nas as much as he could've.

Yeah, that was what I thought when I first saw this last night, actually. It seemed a little awkward to me. He was trying to be his usual character, but was holding back at the same time because of the sensitive subject matter.
