Omarosa 'delusional, pathetic, TV host Williams says

Reality TV villain Omarosa sparred with talk show host Wendy Williams on Monday in a spat that at one point turned physical.

She appeared on Fox's "The Wendy Williams Show" to promote her upcoming book but instead spent more time trading insults with the radio personality-turned-talk show host.

"I wanted to throw her off the set," Williams later told The Associated Press.

The altercation started when Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth first walked onto the daytime talk show and said she was displeased with Williams' introduction of her and would not be disrespected. Things got uglier when Williams grabbed Omarosa's book cover to hold it up to the camera, and Omarosa snatched it back out of Williams' hand.

"Omarosa wished her career was my career," Williams told the AP. "Omarosa is a delusional, D-list, pathetic woman."

The yanking gave way to Omarosa attacking Williams' appearance, asking the talk show host whether she had had a nose job and suggesting she shouldn't wear wigs.

But Williams didn't stay silent throughout the heated interview. She called Omarosa "a typical angry black woman" and suggested cosmetic injections could fix her wrinkles.

Will there be a rematch?

"I have no reason to invite Omarosa back to the show," said Williams. "That's done. She had her moment."

An after-hours telephone message and e-mail to Omarosa's publicist were not immediately returned Monday.

Felt reluctant posting this (especially since I couldn't find it already posted...) because of my hate for Omarosa and whether or not this will just elongate her fifteen minutes even further.

I don't think Omarosa is "angry" per se; I think she's extremely defensive. I've noticed it with people who come from childhoods/backgrounds/neighborhoods in which they felt they were constantly under attack: They always suspect they are being mocked and looked down on and therefore repeatedly make preemptive strikes to stave of anticipated "disrespect."

Ironically, it's a self-fufilling prophecy: the attitude that everyone wants to tear her down causes her to exhibit behaviors that make people tear her down; thus reinforcing her mentality.

In Defense of Omarosa

It's not shown on this clip, but when she introduced Omorosa, WW said that she was going to "smoothe" Omarosa out. What the shit does that mean? Whatever it means, it clearly was not complimentary to Omarosa, and O called her on it and demanded respect. Also, later in the interview, WW asks O about being an angry black woman (ABW) stereotype. There is a tactful way to ask a question like this: "Some people say that you promote a negative stereotype of black women. How do you respond to your detractors?" That's how Wendy should have phrased the question, but instead, she asked the question as if *she* thought Omarosa was an ABW. This caused another ruckus.

BTW, Wendy isn't some innocent victim here. She has a reputation for doing and saying horrendous shit to her celebrity guests. Check out the Method Man video dissing WW. That bitch, WW, told the world that his wife was sick with cancer when all she wanted was privacy. So, Wendy had this coming.

Omarosa knew Wendy's reputation, and she knew that she was going to get dissed either on the show or on the radio afterward, so she attacked. Omarosa decided to go on the offensive pre-emptively and make Wendy defend herself.

And Omarosa is right: Wendy's wig looks like it was snatched off of a 70's era tranny hooker's corpse.
