Bon Jovi to play at free NYC concert

Bon Jovi will treat its fans to a free concert in New York's Central Park on July 12. The show is being presented in conjunction with Major League Baseball, and will be part of the festivities leading up to the July 15 All-Star game at Yankee Stadium.
More details will be announced at a press conference that New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg will host at 4 p.m. at City Hall.
The Jersey-based rock band kicked off its current tour with 10 shows at the Prudential Center in Newark, last year, and will end it with concerts at Madison Square Garden, July 14-15.
