Apple Inc. CEO Steve Jobs delivers the keynote speech during the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, Monday, June 9, 2008. Jobs announced innovations to the Mac OS X Leopard operating system and a long-awaited update to the iPhone.

"We took two other 3G phones -- the iPhone 3G is 36% faster than the nokia N95 and Treo 750 -- and look at the result you get, by the way! Full page on the iPhone, and quite a bit less on the other phones."

"Now on to the final challenge -- affordability. Started at $599 for an 8GB iPhone, now $399. The iPhone 3G 8GB will sell for... $199."

"The iPhone 3G will be available July 11th in 22 countries. The maximum price around the world is $199 USD."

	i dont get this stuff. i dont need my phone to play tv, music, video games, tell me the future, what have you. i need to to take and receive phone calls. why do we need to be completely plugged in all the time? my cell phone sits in my purse all day until it rings i dont need to be watching tv on the bus or something...
