Forgotten actress, (closeted?) lesbian, the guy from the Ring, and a black guy
Charlize Theron and Michelle Rodriguez show up in Seattle yesterday for the premiere of 'Battle in Seattle'













So there was no accompanying article, just pictures.  It's a movie about the WTO Riots in Seattle.  I think the title is pretty laughable, and apparently so is the movie.
There are more pictures at the source but they're all just Charlize Theron looking puffy.

They filmed Battle in Seattle in Vancouver- don't be fooled!
I did extra work on the film- that's how I know.

Every movie based in Seattle is filmed in Vancouver.
Except those in-your-face Seattle movies like '10 Things I Hate About You' and 'Life or Something Like It'. Though 'The Ring' was filmed in Seattle and I don't think they even mention it once or even show the Space Needle.

there was a newsweek cover that had a photo from the riots and this weirdo kid from my class (I was in 7th grade I think?) was on the cover and we were like wtf colby why were you there and he was like idk and he really didn't know why he was there

Perhaps, but that's what the WTO riots are still referred to up here. I live in Portland, and the Pacific Northwest is a hotbed of activism in many forms. And sometimes WTO riots happen. Or eco terrorism. Or guys who camp out on ledges of buildings downtown. It's never dull up here.
