Arcade Fire makes movie soundtrack


Arcade Fire is at work on the band's first film score, for the movie The Box, according to Pitchfork and NME. But the film's director, Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko), reportedly doesn't want anyone to know about it. According to Pitchfork, producer/engineer Markus Dravs leaked the news via his website. The post appears to have been removed. The Box is a thriller starring Cameron Diaz and James Marsden.

i'm so over this band

i adored them intensely when their first album was released. saw them at the hollywood bowl and nearly burst into tears. but my adoration totally fizzled out intensely once their second album hit. that's never happened to me before. really bizarre.
