Cruise, Holmes fans of Chace Crawford

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are big fans of Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, according to the New York Daily News.

The couple spotted Crawford at the Met's Costume Gala and spoke to the 22-year-old TV star about their admiration for him.

"Tom and Katie went up to Chace to say how much they love him and the show. They didn't talk to any of the other cast members," a source is quoted as saying.

Fellow cast members Penn Badgely and Ed Westwick were reportedly unhappy that they "didn't get any love" from Cruise and Holmes.

The source added: "Penn was supposed to be the show's break-out star and now it is obviously Chace, and Penn doesn't like it."
