It's Official: CBS Renews Christine, Unit and HIMYM


This just in: CBS has renewed TV's funniest traditional sitcom, New Adventures of Old Christine, for a 22-episode third season.

This is bad news for ABC, which had been courting Old Christine for months. In fact, I'm told the network had a deal in place to pick the show up had CBS passed.

In other Eye news,
How I Met Your Mother (lame ep last night, huh?) and The Unit have both officially been renewed, while Shark has been axed.


Still no word on the fate of Moonlight.

Last night, for the first time, I was really disappointed with HIMYM :(

But YAY OH MY GOD FINALLY!

Now just renew Moonlight...

they should of put more effort into the episode because it looked to me like they just rushed to put one together so they can have brit for ratings (and i don't even watch the show regularly.)

My brother looooooves that show.

A while ago, a statement from Les Moonves (I believe) said it was most likely getting picked up. Then again, the same statement said the same thing about Moonlight, so who knows now...

I am hoping this could possibly maybe hopefully be a little uplook news for Moonlight..they were talking about axing Shark and giving Moonlight the shows runners

Yeah, HIMYM last night was kind of crap. I really hate that the quality of the show is suffering so much for Brit/hopeful ratings boost. I hope that'll be the last of it.

Also, I've never seen Moonlight, but I think it pretty consistently wins its timeslot? What more could they possibly want?

lol I pimp TVGuide and EOnline, as Kristin and Ausiello are the only two entertainment news sites I check regularly, besides ONTD. Because, as my user name indicates, I watch a shit load of TV while I procrastinate.

And after Ausiello linked to ONTD recently, I totally picture him lurking him. Someone probably just sent him the link, but whatevs. He's probably one of ONTD's biggest posters.

I Love The Unit, but I am surprised it was picked up, I can't imagine the production costs for that show is smaller than, say, Moonlight.
