'Weakest Link' Anne Robinson Steps Out, Reveals Hair
With her once feathery pout looking more smoothed out that normal and a stylish purple frock neatly hugging her slender frame, Anne Robinson was a picture of confidence as she arrived at an exclusive party at London's the Hyatt Regency Churchill hotel last night.
But there was just one glitch - The Weakest Link host had apparently overlooked a step in her preening routine, giving onlookers more than they bargained for with her unsightly hairy armpits.
Still, Miss Robinson didn't appear fazed, mixing happily among the crowd, which included including Boris Johnson, David Cameron and Joan Collins, who were all out to celebrate Spectator's 180th anniversary.
She's not the first star to down her razor - in 1999 Hollywood actress Julia Roberts revealed her unshaven underarms at the British premiere of Notting Hill as she waved to the crowd.
It's an unusual oversight for the 63-year-old, who is known for her efforts to improve on nature.
Miss Robinson famously admitted to having a £9,000 facelift in 2004.
At the time, she declared: "I think anything that allows women to feel better about themselves is worth the money.
"I did look like a car crash for a couple of weeks. But it was soon over and I feel much better for it.
