Official Star Wars: The Clone Wars Poster!

Shortly after USA Today debuted a new photo of villain Asajj Ventress in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the official website revealed the official new poster, which you can see below, as well as an additional new photo!

To repeat from last night's item, the first theatrical trailer will premiere exclusively across the Turner Networks, including Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS, CNN, and Boomerang All on Thursday, May 8 at 7:58pm in all U.S. time zones. The trailer debuts in theaters on Friday, May 9, along with the poster.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars opens in theaters on August 15.

	My 5 year old has been insisting that a StarWars movie was coming out this summer. I, in the infinite wisdom that is motherhood, have explained over and over that we already HAVE the Clone wars, and that it won't be re-released. Hmmm. (Reply to this) (Thread)

whatever you guys, the original cartoons that were produced for the clone wars were better than all three of the prequels. I don't know if these are just those re-released, or if they're something new entirely, but either way I think this is a good thing.

Now if someone can just talk Lucas out of producing that 100-episode TV series that has nothing to do with anything he's already done...

	it's related to what he's already done b/c it's set in the Clone Wars timeframe, which was already worked with in the animated series. this'll be just sort of a continuation of that. (Reply to this) (Parent)

ugh CGI = lame. and I def agree with Jen that the animated series was 10000000x better than all three of the prequels. I hate that they're doing it in CGI, though, and can't even get the original actors besides SLJ and Anthony Daniels to voice it. And Anthony Daniels will jump at the chance to do anything Star Wars related, he and Kenny Baker are just thrilled that people know who they are lol. And not getting Frank Oz for Yoda is sfl. At least get Mark Hamill to voice Yoda, or something, his is spot-on.

	Nope. Brand new story, I believe. Following some of the other clone wars books, and various other meetings Anakin and Obi had with Ventress, Dooku and the clone wars warriors. There were loads of books and I guess a billion battles happening at the time chronologically (Reply to this) (Parent)
