jack white saving lives during concert
Imagine you’re a girl, and you love the Raconteurs. You go see them at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, and your having a grand time, when all of a sudden you faint.

The crowd pushes your body to the front, and instead of a bouncer coming to your rescue, Jack White himself leaps off the stage and carries your weary body to safety. He then (as you are told later), continues on with “Carolina” like nothing happened.

Said one KCS “Back to Rockville” reader: Wadkc: “I loved how he didn’t even mention the woman in the front. Just doing the Superman thing and movin’ on.”

Said another…er…concerned reader: “I hope she is OK. Wish it had been me.“

I wish that was a MUSE concert instead. And it was Matthew Bellamy, and the fan was me. Aaaand I fainted, and he picked me up, aaaand then we had babies.

LOL the same thing happened to me once, but it was Chris Conley from Saves the Day and I didn't faint, I got a concussion from getting kicked in the head from some twat that was crowdsurfing at a venue that housed *maybe* 100 people. I got to sit on stage while they played and I waited for an ambulance, haha.

aw what a sweetie!!

not going to lie, I wish it was me too. The one time I passed out at a show I only got carried out by a bouncer:( But he was nice and gave me fruit roll-ups to eat while I waited for the paramedics :)

Jack is amazing. I love him so much. My mom saw him out in Nashville and didn't think to call me and tell me until like a week later. I was like "mom, I totally would have gone to find him."

my sister fainted at a Mat Kearney show, but all she got was a paramedic on a golf cart and a random woman who poured a bottle of water on her face...after she had woken up. (I had asked for water for her to DRINK since she was dehydrated and all.)
