Beck to release new album soon!!!


Beck could be releasing his new album within the next 4-6 weeks according to reports.

The rush-release method is similar to that of The Raconteurs, who recently issued their second album Consolers Of The Lonely, just a week after it had been mastered.

It's already been confirmed that Danger Mouse has produced the album and now rumours also say that Cat Power features on the record.

If speculation proves to be real, the album should coincide with Beck's Wireless Festival appearance and those two headline shows in Manchester and Southampton this July.

I miss suit-wearing, breakdancing Beck. And I wish I had never found out about the Scientology thing. I think people act as if he's a convert or something, even though his family has been involved in it for a long time. Which makes it easier to understand, in a way...he's always been indoctrinated and is used to it, which is easier to sympathize with. Still nutters, though.
