Video from Today's Episode of "The View" and Discussion of Controversial Miley Cyrus Photos
The Ladies of "The View" Discuss Miley Cyrus "Topless" Pic
For those that don't want to or can't watch the video, this is basically what was said:
-- Joy didn't think the picture was that bad, saying that Miley's fan base is growing older and that she should grow up with it; however, she thought the one of Miley and Billy Ray was creepy. Sherri thought it was "beautiful" and said it didn't bother her at all.
-- Whoopi challenged the statement from Disney that claims Miley was manipulated by Vanity Fair to sell magazines, saying that Annnie Leibovitz will ALWAYS show you every single picture that comes out of a shoot. She thinks that Miley knew full well what was going to appear in the magazine.
-- Elisabeth also said she doesn't fault the magazine, and instead placed blame on Miley's parents. She said that, ultimately, it was up to Billy Ray and Tish whether or not pictures like these were taken/approved.
-- At the end of the clip, Joy suggests that maybe Billy Ray is exploiting Miley in order to resuscitate his own career
