Bjork at Hammersmith Apollo (April 14, 2008)

Bjork performs at Hammersmith Apollo during her Volta world tour, on April 14, 2008 in London, England.
some things never change - which can sometimes be a good thing - case in point tonight is björk - the oddball icelandic singer - who is still bizarre yet brilliant & original as always! (the pictures below are from a show this evening at london's hammersmith apollo - i just adore the colorful furry mini-pommed hat along with her dress that looks part aluminum foil)
i have such deep respect for her - she always blows me away with her genius & crafty musical ways - i know she's not everyone's cup of tea and i can't listen to her all of the time (i doubt anyone could) but she never fails at bringing something fresh and oh so kooky to the table - no one can argue with that! the mold was smashed into a thousand pieces when she was made - i can't even think of who i would compare her to - björk (along w/ her fashion) is in a league all her own!
i've mentioned a couple of times on here before that you must see dancer in the dark if you haven't already - her golden globe nominated performance is simply incredible - overall the story is a bit of a downer but it's an excellent film! as for future projects she'll be releasing 'volta revisted' (2CD live/remixes + 1 DVD) sometime this spring!
