Michael Vick is making 12 cents (12 cents too much) an hour while he is serving his time at Leavenworth Prison for his involvement in a dogfighting ring.

Falcons owner Arthur Blank must be keeping in touc h with the football star and said that Vick is doing the best he can in the joint and when not writing letters or doing the dishes, he is playing quarterback in the courtyard.

Vick, who received a whopping $37 million signing bonus from the Falcons, was ordered to return nearly $20 million to the team. Don’t be looking for the wayward QB to be back in action any time soon. His release date is July 2009.

Vick might want to donate his dishwashing funds to an animal charity of some sort. For more details on Vick’s legal trouble and sentencing check it out here.

IDGI. I hate to hear of dogs being viciously abused but there are children out being molested and living in communities that promote inderage marriages to men old as dirt with no guarantee of an education to this very day that bilk US tax dollars and the government knows about it. Many of the higher ups receive campaign money from these people. When this came out it was a like a Salem witch hunt. What I don't understand is people put the life of a dog above a human.

	I'm still astonished that he seemingly got a harsher penalty than actual dangerous criminals out there. Yes, what he did was abhorrant, but it's a sad day in the justice system when a dogfighter gets more jailtime/pays more fines than a rapist or a child abuser.
