Mini Jessica Alba says:
"Hollywood Isn't As Glamorous As It Looks. I Don't Do It For The Glamour."
Popstar! magazine recently had a quick interview with Princess Protection Program star Selena Gomez on adjusting to life in Los Angeles, her biggest vice and her idol Rachel McAdams. What's been your biggest challenge so far? "The biggest challenge was moving away from home, and at first, I didn't know how I was gonna do it. Once I came out to LA and started working, I adjusted a little bit but I'm still a Texas girl. My escape is to go home and relax for a bit, which I get to do when we're on hiatuses. That or surfing with Jake and Jennifer who are on the show with me! Jake did Johnny Kapahala, so he had training for that and he took me and Jennifer surfing for the first time and I got hooked!"
What's one of your vices?
"Sugar-free Red Bull! I had a sip of my mom's and I was like, 'Oooh, this is good!' but she won't let me have too many. But every now and then, if I have a meeting or something, she'll let me. It gives me a little jolt of energy so I can focus on work or something!"
What's a movie role you'd love to re-create?
"I probably would want to-such a hard question! Probably a drama, but something that I can step out to a little bit. I love Rachel McAdams-I love how she spreads herself out and re-invents herself every time. She's got Mean Girls and The Notebook and a thriller Red Eye and The Family Stone and Wedding Crashers. I think she does a lot of good things in her career!"
IDK, Selena seems to be getting more and more 'glamorous'.
