Danny Noriega Attended Alternative High School for "At-Risk" Teens
A.I. Contestant's "At-Risk" Past



"American Idol" wannabe Danny Noriega has issues.

We found out Danny attended Sierra (Continuation) High School in Azusa, Calif., a school dedicated to "at-risk" kids.

The crowd at the school? According to Sierra High's web site, students are "significantly behind in credits -- and at risk of not graduating -- who want a second chance to succeed and achieve a high school diploma."

Danny graduated last year, but school sources tell us he had a rough time, working through his "gothic" phase -- that's when Danny boy went on his Christmas video rampage. One source says Danny had "multiple issues" which landed him at the school.

I went to a "regular" public high school and an "alternative.at risk" one (charter school) and I didn't have to carry books at either schools. haha My freshman year i did though and my back always hurt.

I am SO FUCKING TIRED of these idol losers becoming "gossip fodder". Every season we get three or four of the contestants with "shady pasts" or whatever.

i went to one of those high schools for my senior year because i ditched PE so much that it gave me F's so i had to go there to get my credits faster
