Clinton Campaigns on The Daily Show
On the eve of what's been dubbed "Super Tuesday Two," presidential hopeful HILLARY CLINTON spoke via satellite from Austin, TX on Monday night's edition of "The Daily Show" -- where she shared a few riffs with host JON STEWART.
"I wish you were out on the campaign trail with us," Clinton told Stewart. "You could make fun of us in person instead of by remote."
"I prefer the distance," Stewart responded. "To know you're people with feelings? Ugh. That would just hurt me too much."
Stewart also joked about Clinton deciding to spend time with him on her last night before Texas and Ohio's crucial primary elections.
"This election is about judgment," Stewart told her. "Yet tomorrow is perhaps one of the most important days of your life and you've chosen to spend the night before talking to me. Senator, as a host I'm delighted. As a citizen, I'm frightened."
Without skipping a beat, Clinton joked back: "It is pretty pathetic."
