My boyfriend works for Starbucks. I ended up helping them out and played baby sitters for the co workers who had kids.

I'm sorry but from what I heard the training was stupid.

I work at Starbucks and it was a bit amusing to see people come up to the door while we were retraining. Some of them got so pissed! One guy started beating on the window. Seriously, it's just coffee!

I hate all the new rules, too.
It takes forever to get drinks out now.

I've never had a problem with service at Starbucks, I don't think that's the problem. Tim Hortons just keeps expanding more and more and their service is pure shit. It's more that if I'm looking for a simple caffeine fix, I'd rather pay $1.50 for a coffee at Tims than $4 at Starbucks.
