George Clooney - immortalised in jelly beans


George Clooney has been immortalised in jelly beans.

A portrait of the 46-year-old actor - who is nominated for the Best Actor Oscar for his role in 'Michael Clayton' at the Academy Awards on Sunday
- was made using 10,000 sweets by the Jelly Belly Gourmet Beans Company.

The piece - which features Cotton Candy beans for George's cheeks and Buttered Popcorn candy for his highlighted hair - will be donated to a charity of George's choice later this week.

It will be displayed at the company's suite at Beverly Hills' Luxe Hotel until its donation.

I think it's sort of crazy that stuff like this can be made from JELLY BEANS, and there were people who had to sit here and do this. There's shading and everything! Craziness.

I've actually been to the corporate headquarters and took a tour. It was pretty impressive. They've got an "art" gallery of most of their portraits. And you even get FREE samples. And free tastings. I took my son and he loved it so much. Even got to visit Santa there. If you're ever in town, take the tour, very enjoyable!
