Lauren Cleri, 26, tells the newspaper that she and husband Frank Cleri, 24, a New York police officer, are ''kind of up in the air right now — I want to [get back together], but I don't think he does.'' Moment of Truth has contestants take a lie-detector test backstage and then go on camera and be asked the same questions, receiving cash prizes for truthful answers. On the show, Cleri revealed before her parents, siblings, and husband that she had slept with another man while married to Frank, that she was still in love with an ex on her wedding day, and that she really thinks she should be married to a former boyfriend. An actual former boyfriend appeared on the show to ask that last question. In an ironic twist, the Cleris wound up leaving with no prize money because, despite the polygraph finding answers to those difficult questions to be ''true,'' when she was asked whether she thinks she is a good person, Cleri said yes and the machine said the answer was ''false.'' I also get that her 3-D movie made $29 million in its opening weekend. That doesn't mean it's good. Miley Cyrus herself is perfectly adequate. She's cute and personable, and she has a pretty good singing voice, which you'd expect from the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, who appears to have traded in an achy-breaky heart and mullet for a shag, an earring and a weekend acting seminar at his local mall. But fascinating? Only insofar as she is the next most likely teen star to go Britney Spears on us. The 15-year-old has even ripped a page from Britney's handbook, publicly proclaiming her virginity while dressing for a hooker convention. Sarah Slean Channels Parisian Inspirations And Frustrations On New Album [01 Mar 2008|10:34am] [ mood | enraged ] Toronto singer/songwriter/pianist Sarah Slean will become The Baroness upon Warner Music Canada's March 11 release of an album bearing that name. Slean's fifth studio release was co-produced by the artist and I Mother Earth guitarist Jagori Tanna. It was mixed by David Bottrill (Peter Gabriel, Muse). Slean starred in a short film titled Tales Of The Baroness, which aired on Bravo! in 2004. Just like 19th century composer Frederic Chopin and Doors vocalist Jim Morrison, and more recently Feist and Buck 65, Slean says she moved to Paris in 2006 to write songs and rediscover herself in an inspirational environment. "It's like when you pick up an instrument you don't understand, you can come up with all these new little melodies. Music is new to you again, and I felt like I had to do that in my life, to start thinking differently, to uproot my philosophies. Where better to do that than in the city of Sartre and Simone De Beauvoir?" But Slean quickly grew frustrated with her living quarters, which were so cramped that she could touch the edge of her piano, bed and kitchen table at the same time. She says that made it difficult to work, but used the experience to fuel her songwriting. "In order for me to create, I sometimes need to take myself out of a comfortable situation and return to an ignorance and innocence that is exciting but also rejuvenating." Slean recorded most of the vocals for The Baroness in her small home studio before moving into various Toronto studios to record with the likes of bassist Joe Phillips, drummer Mark Mariash, organist Dennis Keldie, saxophone player Richard Underhill and a string section headed by Drew Jurecka and Rebekah Wolkstein. Those eager to hear a bit of The Baroness can check out lead single "Get Home" at Slean's MySpace page. Beginning Friday, fans can enter a contest on Slean's website to create their own video for "Get Home." The winner will win a trip for two to Paris. There's no word on whether it will include accommodation in a cramped apartment. Those who pre-order The Baroness on Slean's site will receive a download of "Parasol," which isn't on the album. Slean will play New York City on March 11 and a Canadian tour is expected in late spring. Arena magazine's "Best Body of 2008," Bar recently landed a gig as the face of Accessorize, and she recently talked about her experience shooting a spread for Sports Illustrated. (And we briefly talked about this on our community several weeks ago).  4 Minutes - Very high energy, back and forth between Madonna and Justin Timberlake the whole song. Timbaland speaks throughout, but does not rap nor sing on the track. The song ends with a breakdown and Timbaland's voice. The horn/trumpet sound we hear in the jingle ball clip lasts throughout the entire song. The song ends in kind of a breakdown. Madonna's final words are "tick tock tick tock tick tock" then the beat changes and the horns stop as it goes into a breakdown, with a few more "tick tocks" and Timbaland saying, ''uh , yeah... we only got four minutes'', beats stop, now silence... "to save the world" add Timbaland.   Give It 2 Me - Funky, dancey track, this time by Pharrell Williams, who is heard on the track.  Heartbeat - Has an 80's feel, totally catchy. Think "Future Lovers" only better! The chorus reflects one of the true Madonna/Pop moments on the album.  Miles Away - Melodic, haunting, while still catering to the target audience of this album. One of the best songs.  She's Not Me - Hip-Hop, cool, fresh, sexy and EDGY. Madonna sings to a partner about another girl and how this girl just can't measure up to Madonna. She tells him, "she can love you in the shower" but "she doesn't have my name".  Incredible - A sleeper track, this one is subtle at first, but its groovy beats can make it grow into a fan favorite.  Beat Goes On - Completely different, less melody and more beat driven than the demo that was leaked. As we already revealed on December 4, Kanye West raps rather long verse at the end.  Dance Tonight - This is a fun one. Totally old school, Madonna and Justin duet. Simple wood block beat throughout. "Inspirational" Hey You-ish bits in the chorus about not needing to be rich, famous and beautiful to be understood, with dance/club driven verses and bridge.  Spanish Lesson - In this filler Madonna speaks in various languages and keeps with the urban theme.  Devil - Previously known to fans as "Even the Devil Wouldn't Recognize You", it's neither a ballad nor a dance song. Could more fittingly be compared to the being the "Isaac" of the album. Fate, angels, stars, disguises and lies make up this cool, dark track that will have you "keep on comin' back for more" as one lyric goes.  Voices - Madonna stays with her recent theme of keeping the more wordy, reflective songs for her last track with this one. The Hills girls Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge and Lauren Bosworth shop at The Grove in Hollywood on Friday. "Last weekend Lo, Audrina and I moved into our new house," Lauren excitedly said. "We love it!" The trio picked up household items for their new mini-mansion at Crate & Barrel and grabbed lunch at Mexican fast-food joint Baja Fresh. Lauren, 22, also was seen holding her new pet pooch. "On Monday, I got a puppy from the pound. She is the cutest puppy ever! Her name is Chloe. She is a lab/shepherd mix. I'm not getting much sleep because she thinks night time is play time. Ashes (my cat) is not thrilled with her, but I think they will become friends." New eps of The Hills start Monday, March 24th. It started out as "roller disco" in the 70s and evolved to jam skating in the 80s. It's a non-traditional form of dancing bit is still classified as such. Crocodile Hunter's Dad, Bob Irwin, Quits Zoo [01 Mar 2008|05:10pm] (Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin's widow, Terri, and children, with Bob Irwin.) BOB Irwin, father of Crocodile Hunter Steve, has snubbed his daughter-in-law Terri and quit Australia Zoo, vowing to keep his son's dream alive elsewhere. In a heartfelt resignation letter, Mr Irwin has told of his difficult decision to leave the conservation and tourism operation he helped build over 36 years.  His departure follows claims by zoo staff and volunteers of a feud with Terri Irwin over treatment of staff, management of Wildlife Warriors and the commercial direction of the world-famous attraction.  Mr Irwin provided his statement exclusively to the Sunday Herald Sun yesterday, angry that zoo management had refused to make it public on Friday, instead sending out words "that were not his".  In the 300-word letter, he talks about his desire to continue "Steve's dream" at a new property he has bought near Kingaroy, 209km northwest of Brisbane.  He thanks zoo staff, Animal Hospital workers, Wildlife Warriors and "all Steve's friends out there", but makes no reference to Terri or her contribution to his son's conservation empire or to the raising of Mr Irwin's grandchildren Bindi and Bob.  Mr Irwin pays tribute to his son, who died after a stingray's barb pierced his heart in September 2006.  "You may rest assured that Judy (Bob's partner) and I will continue with Steve's dream, with the passion and commitment he would expect," he said.  Terri, Zoo director Wes Mannion and family manager John Stainton have refused to comment on Mr Irwin's departure, or claims of a rift.  Part of the official statement from the zoo on Friday read: "Bob is a gentleman of retirement age and we fully support and love him dearly . . . These rumours (of a rift) need to end in respect to the Irwin family."  Rumours of an Irwin family feud have been circulating since January and volunteers and a disgruntled employee have recently claimed staff were upset that Mr Irwin had been banned from the zoo after an argument with Terri.  In an unrelated matter, Terri Irwin and the Australia Zoo could face a tax investigation in the wake of multi-million dollar civil lawsuits against them.  Australian Taxation Office officials were seen attending preliminary hearings at the Victorian County Court last week.
