'The Happening' teaser trailer


In the 20th Century Fox release, starring Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel, John Leguizamo and Betty Buckley, a couple goes on the run from an apocalyptic crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity.

Shyamalan’s first R-rated feature will hit theaters worldwide on Friday, June 13th, 2008.

I love Wahlberg, but this looks way too intense for me.

In response to this movie, my brother said he wishes people would stop copying Stephen King's The Stand. I have no desire to look into it, im just curious if anyone who knows about the plot agrees.

'The Stand' was more of a killer virus kind of thing, whereas this one looks more like people just randomly start killing themselves. It reminds me of a Japanese movie called 'Suicide Club', really.
