First pic taken of Matilda's Godfather Jake, Since Heath's Death
Jake Gyllenhaal, the godfather of Heath Ledger's two-year-old daughter Matilda, has not been seen in public since the star's tragic and unexpected death last Tuesday, until now.

Here he is taking a walk girlfriend Reese Witherspoon and her kids yesterday in Los Angeles, where he is expected to spend the rest of the weekend.

Now that Heath is gone, Jake is expected to help rear his best friend's child. "I remember being in rehearsal, and the two of them had googly eyes with each other," the actor has said of the romance between Heath and Michelle Williams. He has described being Matilda's godfather as "an amazing honor."

	I think it's very strange that he hasn't said anything about Heath and that this is the very first time he shows up in public with Reese and the kids. It just feels off to me. 	i dont think i'll be able to watch that movie for a really long time now, it already was a very upsetting movie, it used to reduce me to tears from the 'i wish i could quit you' scene, to him finding out jakes character died, to the end scene, which used to kill me. now i imagine everytime heath is on screen it'll be upsetting.
