Where Are They Now?: Ashleigh Aston Moore, Part 2
This is my first post ever, and I know you guys will let me know if I screw anything up. I searched to see if this had already been posted, but couldn't find anything.
On December 7th,
dotsetloops made this post: [Where Are They Now?: Ashleigh Aston Moore]. I enjoyed the entry because I grew up watching "Now & Then" over and over and Ashleigh Aston Moore was always a favorite of mine. After reading that post, I visited her IMDb message boards and became fascinated by some of the stories that were included there. However, tonight, I noticed that the IMDb message boards on her page contained a few "RIP" messages and a notice about a memorial being held for her tonight (December 19th).
?
According to Wikipedia, "On the night of December 10th 2007, Ashleigh Aston Moore died of an accidental heroin overdose at her home in Richmond, British Columbia. She was 27 years old." I know that Wikipedia isn't always the most reliable source, so I was about to assume that this was probably just an internet hoax (Sinbad, anyone?) However, I checked around and found some blogs on the subject posted by some of her real life friends:
Inamorato @ Blogspot.com's Entry
Canada @ Myspace's Entry
So far, this is the best research that I've been able to do, but I know that there are some great ONTD detectives that may be able to dig up more. Of course, there's always the possibility that this is some not-quite-elaborate hoax. However, I've become pretty convinced and based on the reaction to the initial post, I thought that some of you might be interested in this as well.
