Broadway cast (Spring Awakening) sings during the 2007 Local One Strike.

Spring Awakening is a Tony Award-winning rock musical with music by Duncan Sheik and book and lyrics by Steven Sater. The musical is based on the controversial 1891 German play of the same title by Frank Wedekind.

My g-d I love this show so much. Knowing that John Gal. is gone now I feel so lucky that I was able to see it with him and most of the original cast. I hope lots of ONTD people watch this video haha.

That's pretty outdated and not really new considering they did that like.. the 1st or 2nd night of the strike which was over one month ago. That being said, Spring Awakening is a fun show, way overrated, but still pretty good. I wouldn't recommend it as highly now that John Gallagher Jr. has left but it's worth seeing. He was the best part of the show. :(

Hasn't been posted to ONTD! Even some of my most hardcore SA friends hadn't seen this video until just recently.

And cute boys singing along to acoustic guitar in scarves and hats sipping their cocoa is NEVER outdated. :)

most of them are still in it, although John Gallagher, Jr (who won a Tony for his part) just left on Sunday. I don't know how the new kid will be (his first show is tonight) but I'd wager the show will lose a little something with Gallagher. =(

I've watched that first video soo many times.

I saw it two weekends ago, and I still can't believe how lucky I am. I never thought I'd see it before John Gallagher jr left.

There was a 13 year old who had never seen the show sitting behind me during Gallagher's last and I turned around and was like "you're going to want to remember this when you grow up, it's a very special night".

I really want to see this show again over Xmas break, but now that Jonathan Gallagher Jr is gone I dunno if it would be as good - he was absolutely BRILLIANT.

I'm going this Sunday and I'll admit, I was sad when I heard John was leaving, but I'm sure Blake will be great. The show's still going to be amazing, no matter if the actors leave.
