Kirsten Dunst to Play Vivienne Westwood?


Kirsten Dunst is rumoured to have been offered the role of Vivienne Westwood in a new film about her life according to Hollywood rumours.

The actress is apparently front runner to bag the role according to fashionista but nothing has been confirmed and filming will not start until next year.

The part of Westwood's partner Malcolm McLaren is rumoured to have already been given to Hayden Christiansen.

Vivienne isn't the only fashion designer getting a Hollywood calling it also being reported that Takashi Murakami is being persuaded to make a full length animation by Dreamworks boss Jeffrey Katzenberg.

Murakami is one of the most fashionable artists today. His work with Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton includes handbags decorated with the fashion house’s logo in 33 different—and very bright—colors.

He also inspired the cherry blossom logo that became an international hit for LV about four years ago.

I really do not get the Kirsten hate, don't lie to yourselves - she's a good actress, better then most young females of today's hollywood, shes also very pretty, in a natural way, so what if she decided against straighting out her teeth like 99% of hollywood does, she looks real and very pretty.
most of the 90's movies she made are cult classics today, she has good taste in roles.
she doesn't appear to have an eating disorder, a cocaine or alcohol addiction with is rare in hollywood.

I mean, can anyone actually tell me why they don't like Kirsten Dunst?

um. vivienne westwood essentially invented punk fashion, dressed the sex pistols for the duration of their career and shagged their manager for quite a bit.

oh, and also, her clothes are fucking amazing. i am so offended by them selecting kirsten dunst. vivienne westwood was far more beautiful than kirsten could ever hope to be - if you look at her younger pictures she was a fucking bombshell.
