Comic-Con San Diego Day 1 Photos
I just got back from the first day of Comic-Con here in San Diego and I have a bunch of pictures to share. I created a new Photobucket album just for these, so hopefully my bandwith won't die.
People featured: Jessica Alba, Dane Cook, Zachary Quinto, Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, Leonard Nimoy, the creators of "Lost" + the dude who plays Michael, Ben Foster, Peter Fonda, J.J. Abrams, plus random people in costume!
I apologize in advance for the quality of some of these photos. I was in a huge room that seated over 6,000 people and I was in the back, so I had to zoom in on the television screens to get most of these. My camera has a shitty zoom, so there you go.

Jessica Alba was there with Dane Cook promoting her new movie. She did a Q&A session, to which one guy asked her what would surprise people about her, to which she replied, "I'm a man."

Zachary Quinto is playing Spok in the new Star Trek film.

They brought out the surprise guest: Leonard Nimoy!

J.J. Abrams was also there, since he's directing it.

Abrams also talked about the new untitled monster movie he's making, to which he revealed nothing except that the monster is NOT Godzilla nor King Kong. They were giving out free posters and I got a really awesome one with the headless Statue of Liberty.

There was a live satellite feed with Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, and Ford's new sidekick (forgot his name).

They introduced a surprise guest, the woman that played Marion! She'll be in the fourth film as well.

These next photos of the creators of "Lost" are the worst quality because it was in a different room and I was waaaay in the back. Sorry. :-/

When someone asked a question about the future of Michael's character on the show, they brought out a surprise guest.

Michael *is* coming back as a season regular, and they also showed us this weird clip at the end that makes no sense. It was of the Asian guy from the Dharma Initiative with rabbits. Whatever. They also said there will be three more seasons with 16 episodes in each. The fourth season episodes will also be aired right after another, so no repeat episodes or breaks starting in February.
Ben Foster and Peter Fonda talked about their new film, 3:10 to Yuma. It was rumored that Christian Bale would also be appearing, but alas, he was not there. D: They showed us a couple clips from the film, and it looks AWESOME. I got a free poster of that, too. :D

The rest are just random pictures from the convention.
The Indiana Jones exhibit:

They found a woman with one leg and paid her to dress up as the girl from Grindhouse; how awesome is that?!

OPTIMUS!

We were also showed exclusive footage from the new Iron Man movie, and HOLY FUCKING SHIT. It looks like it's going to be AWESOME! I was skeptical at first, but after seeing the footage, I can't wait for May 2008. Robert Downy Jr. will be appearing with Edward Norton on Saturday. :D
That is all for today. Hopefully tomorrow, I will have pictures of CLIVE OWEN and maaaaaaybe Christian Bale *if* he shows up to the Warner Bros. exhibit to promote The Dark Knight. I don't have my hopes up, though.
