it's weekend! [Friday July 18th, 2008 9:55pm] candyrouge [ mood | distressed ] yay. it's friday. I'll get to to take a break of my hectic schedule. Oh wells, though next week i'm having 2 tests. Dreads. Well, attachment at blood bank is super super super exciting. Doing blood typing, segmenting and antibody screening is sooo fun! (: I'm a O positive. Those who need blood can find me okay. (: I got up late today and got to ask my dad to fetch me to nuh. Traffic in the morning was zzz and dad started to nag at me for getting up late. My day started with- bad. ): But later in the afternoon, the four of us got entertained by jx. He is blur and unorganise and that sort of got me, ning and cass laughed. Haha. 'Eh, not i want to say you lar, but don't purposely do things to make me say you can?' apparently he sort of like got bullied by the 3 of us:x  But, we were just joking okay. (: Went plaza after school with ning and ting. It's our first unofficial  shopping! i might not be updating a lot.. [Thursday July 17th, 2008 11:44pm] dayzee38 [ mood | enthralled ] hello hello! so my parents are traveling tomorrow, and their leaving my brother and i here in bahrain. my brother and i will be staying at my grandmother's house until my parents return. at first, i thought it would suck, but then i was like wth ill take my laptop with me and a lot of dvd's to rewatch! there is also a swimming pool there so it's going to be fun :D. i also have to read "in the time of the butterflies" by julia alvarez for school. which starts on september 1st. i want to finish reading it before breaking dawn comes out cuz i don't want anything else to read other than breaking dawn. so the point is, i wont be updating my lj as much as i used to update it, so u might not see any icons until maybe august. the internet in my grandmother's house isn't that great so i don't want to use it a lot. so anyways, ill miss being on lj for long hours, and ill miss you guys! xx aysha READ (24) CMNT

High school. friends [Tuesday July 15th, 2008 10:33am] pinkballs So after almost a year, I meet Mr Jonny. I don't know what happened really, maybe I was overthinking on my side or he wasn't really caring, we didn't talk for months; he was really distant. We met up on Saturday (he called me) and I must say it was really amazing getting to talk to him again. As far as I know, we both have moved on to different levels in life but deep down we both know each best, maybe not anymore but we know each other well enough to become friends for a lifetime. That's my wish. I love that boy, not in a way that I want his heart again, I love that boy like how I love my best friend. Jon's someone that changed me and I love him as a person and one of my greatest fears in life is to lose a friend like him.  We talked a lot since forever, laughing and all. There are things that I can only tell Jon, no one else, not even my closest girl friends. Ok, I'm happy we're friends again. READ (2) CMNT

DRAMA SPAZ. [Monday July 14th, 2008 6:51pm] yamapi_loves_me I finished all of Last Friends last night while sitting humbly in front of my computer trying to ignore my teeth pains. This drama is so angsty that it makes your whole face glue to the screen for hours straight. But woah! Takeru turns out to be my favorite character, right after Ruka. I think the script writers forgot about his internal ordeal at the last minute,  because they surely rushed it to some shallow "resolution." I also wish they gave Eri's character a bit more depth and development--she is considered one of the main characters after all.  Overall, I think it's one of the more angsty/ truly dramatic series out there in Japanese television. I wouldn't watch it a second time, but I'll always remember the story and how great all the actors and actresses were. (I love Ueno Juri!)  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ JAPANESE REMAKE OF GOOONG???? RUMOR Rumor has it that Yamapi will be playing SHIN  in the rumored  Japanese remake of Goong. I am excited to hear that Goong will be remade, but let's sit down and reconsider. Goong is strongly associated with Korean culture and society (with a fictional royal element involved), and the Japanese version will not be the same if they transform it in terms of Japanese tradition and culture. Don't forget the gorgeous Korean costumes that would be left out!  I also highly disagree with Yamapi as Shin, who is the generic arrogant, despicable-but-actually-soft-hearted idiot of a guy that everyone falls in love with. Shin is also a prince, and clearly, Yamapi does not have a regal air to him. On the other hand, he should play the emotionally unstable and pitiable YUL! Ah, Yamapi might have to ditch his overly toned body for once.   READ (9) CMNT
