 I was flipping thru some old chinese magazines at my hair salon and came across this article on Hana Yori Dango 2...thought I would share it here.  

HANADAN MOVIE CONFIRMED

Fans of the "Hana Yori Dango" drama series will get one more chance to see the cast in action, as a movie has been announced for the summer of 2008. Titled "Hana Yori Dango Final," the film is being described as the last chapter of the live-action adaptation.

This will be Mao Inoue's first starring role in a movie. Jun Matsumoto, Shun Oguri, Shota Matsuda, and Tsuyoshi Abe will reprise their roles as the group known as "F4."

The film is set one year after Tsukushi Makino's graduation. The story focuses on a major incident that the five main characters become involved in, while also depicting the ups and downs of Tsukushi and Tsukasa's relationship.

Filming is scheduled to take place overseas for about two months, starting in January. The series' director Yasuharu Ishii will helm the picture. The story is currently being developed by the original mangaka Yoko Kamio and the series' screenwriter Mikio Satake (actor Takayuki Takuma).

For the people who doens't read the manga (you should *_*! XD ) she is the Matsujun sister on the dorama ^^

I'm so happy about this since I'm a big fan of Matsushima Nanako. She is the lead in doramas like GTO, Majo no Jouken, yamato nadeshiko, Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji 3 or films like THe Ring ^^

it's interestomng to see the whole cast photos (except domouyji..-_-; ) and see if they really fit the original character or not... XDDD In most cases I'm happy... in other not sure.... XD For example Idon't see Shizuka that INCREDIBLE.. in the cast photo..when shzuka has to be... amazing...


Ther is a itnerview with Kamio Yuko ( the mangaka) ..and I suppose that soon with the cast ..

The press conference of "Hana Yori Dango" was held on 13 Oct where cast members Matsumoto Jun, Inoue Mao, Oguri Shun, Matsuda Shota and Abe Tsuyoshi appeared. Matsumoto said that his role of Domyoji Tsukasa may be a detestable fellow from the start but he's a very simple guy who doesn't know how to say what he really means. As for Oguri, he said that he's very happy when the heroine Tsukushi played by Inoue gets bullied which Matsumoto commented that Oguri is actually quite "evil" as compared to his good guy appearance.
