For those who may or may not have noticed, the OGR website appears to be down/gone.

I've put in some emails to find out what's up, but I think now's as good a time as any for me to get onto that revamp I was talking about doing.

This is temporary, I assure you.

I'm hoping to have something back up and running before the end of this month or at least by the beginning of May.

I just received word that the server which hosts OGR has been compromised and has crashed. The server admin is working on the problem and promises that things will be up and running as soon as possible (but be warned that it may take a bit of time).

Many apologies for the inconvenience. Once OGR is back up and running, another announcement will be made.

01/20/06 - Gaming@OGR Has Reopened!

This is just a quick announcement to let you all know that Gaming@OGR has reopened and the application room has been unlocked once more.

Thank you to everyone for their patience in the last few months as we took it down for maintenance, clear-outs and procedural revamping. We look forward to seeing the applications that people have talked to us about over the last few months!

11/07/05 - Gaming Applications On Hold

Until further notice, all gaming applications are on hold. This arrangement should be temporary and hopefully short in nature. We apologize for this inconvenience.

11/25/05 - My Game is Open - Now What?? - Embassy Procedure Posted

All Ambassadors with Embassies in the Developing Games area of the Embassy Nexus, please take note that we have posted the procedure to follow on OGR once your game has officially opened for RP. It was brought to our attention that this procedure was getting lost on the Ambassador's bboard, so we've moved it to the news files under "news embopening". The procedure is not very complicated, involving a quick check that your +mud/info page is all in order and current, then submitting a +request for the move (please remember to include the information requested in the news file!) and then you should be good to go.

Please allow a couple of days for staff to respond and please remember not to send @mail regarding this request, as @mail gets lost and can only be viewed by the individual it gets sent to. OGR is a cooperative project, so sometimes other staff chip in when someone is away or otherwise bogged down. Thank you for your cooperation!

9/27/05 - Scheduled Downtime is Over

We apologize but the downtime which was scheduled for Sunday actually occurred tonight. The good news is that it is now over and OGR is back up and running. Thanks for your understanding!

9/24/05 - Scheduled Downtime: Sunday, September 25

FYI: We received notice that the server which hosts OGR will experience some downtime sometime in the evening of Sunday, September 25th for a hardware upgrade. The estimated time for this downtime is about an hour at most. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this upgrade is necessary in helping increase the server's performance and triple its storage space. Thank you for your understanding.

3/17/05 - Sio's Corner Delayed

Due to RL circumstances, Sio's Corner has (obviously) been delayed. The next installment will be posted on April 2nd. Sorry for any inconvenience!
