As most of you know, I don't usually jump on band wagons for causes. But October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

When I was seven years old my mother was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer. She had been shunted from doctor to doctor for months because when they looked at her family history they said that there was no possibility of her having Breast Cancer. When she was finally diagnosed she was given 8 months to live. I'm 25 now and my mom just celebrated her 17 year mark. This is largely thanks to a million awesome doctors and nurses and surgeons and researchers and friends. Without the City of Hope
in Duarte, CA, my mom would have died. This October, support Breast Cancer.

  It's my birthday! (Well, almost...) And like Hobbits, I think that you should GIVE presents when celebrating your special day. Sooooo.... this is something I've been wanting to do for quite a while. This is a SPECIAL REQUEST ROUND. Please read the following BEFORE making your request!!
