obsessivefonts. This is a sister community to obsessiveicons, which has many icons, bases, and icontests.Instead of intimidating you with a very large userinfo full of rules, let me sum it up for you.
This community is for sharing freeware or shareware fonts. You don't need to share fonts to download them. You don't need to pay anything to download them. You do need to join (link) to download them, but it's quick and painless. You don't need posting access if you don't intend to share fonts. You don't have to worry about viruses or spyware. You can get help identifying a font here, though it's not dedicated solely to that. You do need to be polite and courteous.
Now, the rest of the userinfo only looks scary. Parts of it apply to different people; you're not required to know anything but the above summary by heart. ;)
