Heya guys!

Not sure if you remember me, but not too long ago I was posting up around here about buying a camera for a Fatal Frame fanfilm I'm wanting to do. We found an awesome camera in the end, a little bigger than we expected it to be and in need of some touch-ups, but will definitely do.

Letting you know this idea is stilla live and well. Production of the film has been pushed forward to December/January, due to school and time-constraints. The upside is, it'll be school holidays here in Australia, and we'll have heaps of time to plan and all. Downside is, it'll be stinking hot down here with our damn summer but at least then we can get away with skimpy lace outfits for the main characters.

Basically, I am posting here because the first version of the script is finally done, and I am looking for beta readers!. I probably could have easily gone to any one of my scripting and pre-production teachers at school, but I'd really like the opinion of a Fatal Frame fan who really knows the games and the core of their stories. I would only like two beta readers, mainly so most of you aren't spoiled abotu the storyline before the film is even done, and both people would have a chance and giving their direct imput.

There are just a few conditions here~ ♥. One is that the script get shown to absolutely no one else, or posted up anywhere online. Because, well, that would make me sad and depressed and I'd cry. :(. And just to be on the professional side, I'd want each person to sign a confidentiality form as well, so that I can sue you if the script leaks.

Newbie question: For those of you who have played the Fatal Frame games on both the Playstation 2 and the X-Box, for which console does it play better on? I'm thinking in terms of graphics, sound, and just general control/gameplay.

I haven't checked the official site lately, and I don't know if anybody else has noticed, but theres more stuff to it now! (I think. I could have sworn last time it was just a picture and some links saying "comming soon")

Okay guys, we've got a Camera Obscura! 8D

This was none of the one's on the list, actually xD Because the two I wanted most drifted quickly out of my price range (someone on eBay really wanted those cameras...), but it's small, very authentic-looking and is easily customize-able.

Hey, everyone! :D Steph here. I joined this community a month or so ago when I learned of it's existence, and now I require the help of any Fatal Frame fans who are willing to spent a moment to give their opinion!!

I'm a second-year film student at RMIT Uni in Melbourne, Australia, and in the recent few months decided it would be completely awesome to make a Fatal Frame (or as it is in Aussieland, Project Zero) fanfilm. Not based off any of the games, but a stand-alone story following the usual traditions of the Project Zero stories. I plan to take the project very seriously. Currently, it's looking like it'll end up being 40-50 minutes in length, though only the first draft of the script and a couple of locations have been done so far. I'm going to make something that'll scare people, dammit! xP As well as be a good watch.

ANYWAY. I've decided to buy the Camera Obscura prop ASAP, because it being around will spur me on to continue with this project even though it's completion will probably be a long way off, due to money and school restraints at the moment (filming will probably be somewhere between October and December, even though I'd hate to film in summer D: less night-time and all).

Searching on ebay, I narrowed my choices down to the following four folding cameras.

Camera 4

Now! fanthings ♥. Which camera out of those ones do you think will make the best Camera Obscura??

Currently, I'm leaning towards Camera 3, and a little towards Camera 2, but I'm horrible at making decisions and would really love some outside opinions from other fans. ♥. Also, my ebay account is quite new and I haven't bought anything with it, so I'm worried about the sellers being a little iffy with me.

Any camera chosen would be touched up and edited before actually being used; the kanji symbols around the lens and such being added after.

Also, if anyone knows of any other camers sales that might be good, feel free ot let me know, though keep in mind I can only get something that ships to Australia.
