Rules & Information

This is an open-to-all online Book of shadows. This is the sister-journal to online_bos which is an invite only journal. More information here.

1. No one is to do harm to others

This means that no one is to be horrible and nasty to other members in any way, shape or form.

2. All posts must be Friends Only!

This is to make sure that what goes into this community stays in this community. Also protects members from outside attack.

3. Tags will be applied.

Although tags are a fairly new thing to some members, they are very simple to add and they make finding posts easier in the future.
LiveJournal provide information on how to do this here and information on tags to do with this journal are:-

a) Tags
b) About Titles, Tags and reason for them
c) The Tags Page

Although you are not required to add them yourself but if you know which ones to use it would be helpful if you did add them.


4. Descriptive Titles (subject lines)

If you don't use a detailed subject line, using the calendar view of the LJ to look back at posts will make for very hard reading.

5. This journal is for sharing information, spells, and other useful things to do with witchcraft.

This journal is not for stealing other peoples information and using it for your own. You may ask others within the group for help with starting out or other problems you may have.

6. Images & User Icons

Please put all images over 400 pixels wide behind an LJ-CUT. Also DO NOT hotlink any images. Please save them onto your own computer and upload them to an image hosting site such as Photobucket etc. If you wish to know more about posting images into LiveJournal please see here.

7. Tasks

Tasks are only to be set by Maintainers and Moderators. They are there to help the group but do not have to be completed. It is better for each member to complete as they can feel a part of the community. There will be only 1 task per calendar month running from the 1^st to the last day of each month.

8. Discussions

Certain members will get the chance to start discussions on the full moon and the new moon (apx every fortnight). They will start the discussion topic and other members can reply as a comment. Anyone showing any remarks that are ill towards others will find themselves removed and banned.

9. Introductions

Each member is now required to make an introduction please copy the below questions and answer them in a post.
