Hi guys- time for an update...

No new challenge this week for several reasons.

As of now, this year has been very hard for me because of school. I am in my senior year of college and it has been much tougher than I thought it would be. Because of work as well as classes and such, my time I am able to spend on the internet and Livejournal has been decreased significantly.

Because of my different schedule this semester as well as dealing with school, work, and RL, I need to put the community on hiatus for a couple of weeks to sort things out. This will give me time to update the community, such as getting banners caught up for you guys, getting challenges planned out in advance, and possibly creating a new banner maker schedule because mlledefer has returned to LJ!!

The hiatus will ONLY last a couple of weeks to get things situated I promise. I hate to put the community on hiatus but I really want to get things up to date and sorted out. Hopefully things will be much better after that. So my sincere apologies about the situation, but please understand I am trying my best and I am sure it is hard for some of you as well with school and/or work.

CHALLENGE #118: Revenge of the Sith

Allright, time for a new challenge. Since we havent done a movie challenge in a while (Challenge 99 was our last one and that was ANH), I figured it was time to do another movie challenge. I was trying to decide which movie to do next, but I think ROTS is a popular choice. For this challenge, you can use whatever images you would like as long as they are from ROTS, including behind-the-scenes pictures if you would like. I have not included any pictures for this challenge, but I have provided a few websites for image reference if you need them. As long as use images from ROTS, you are good to go. You can submit up to 3 icons for this challenge. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please let me know. Have fun and good luck!!

Hey guys- Like I said yesterday, I would be bringing you an update concerning banners and other stuff

1) I dont know what has happened to mlledefer because they have not been on the internet in nearly a month. With that and now that we are down to 2 banner makers, I was wondering if anyone could please step up and join us as a banner maker. We really need at least 1 more banner maker here so our two current ones dont get overwhelmed.

2) With that said, anyone want to volunteer to do banners from Challenge 116? Please let me know!

Sorry about the lateness in posting the winners and the new challenge- it's been hard trying to adjust to a new schedule with school and of course now I have classes. Once I adjust to the schedule, things will be better but in the meantime please bear with me! Our current challenge comes out of the suggestion box, so a huge thanks to michony for making some suggestions! Our challenge this week is Hush, which means that your icon(s) cannot have any form of text on them. There is to be NO TEXT, so don't try to use text in any way because small text cannot be used. If I can see text or believe that there is text, you will have to resubmit your icons. You can use whatever images you would like and you can submit up to 3 icons for this challenge. We had a lower turnout this week than the last few challenges, but I think that is because it was more of a challenge! Purple is definitely not an easy color since it is not seen as much.
