Where can I ...? (Part I of several this year)
Alright, so where on campus/in town (although I rather support a fellow starving Obie) can I find:

a) someone to do some very light tailoring. I have some cotton lounge/sweatpants that need to be hemmed.
b) a decent haircut.

I pay generously in both greenbacks and carbonated beverages.

Try Rachel Green for the tailoring; I know she did stuff like that last year.

In my four years at Oberlin, never did I find a decent haircut, even in the surrounding area. Your best bet is probably finding a fellow Obie who cuts hair. Or let your hair grow shaggy until you go home for fall break.

my roomate gives great haircuts and she might even do it for free. shes a very sweet girl, and i work as her haircutting consultant, haha. call us at 62188 or email amanda.brown@oberlin.edu and ask nicely.

Check with Oliva Verdugo. She was doing them last year, and she's adorable and good at it.

I don't have a sewing machine on campus, but I'm pretty fucking rad at doing hand-hems as well.

you can get sewing machines at Wilder. Somewhere in there anyways. Ask at the desk.

davi shy and jolie signorile love to give haircuts, and they both do excellent jobs and are cheap cheap cheap and they are both super cute and fun too.
