CDS
Hi all,
I had a job with CDS last year, and as crazy as it sounds, I might want it back this year. Do we just....stick with our old jobs, or does everybody have to go sign up for completely new shifts?

Sign up for new shifts. Go talk to Dawn Cole asap before the good ones are taken, maybe you can even get your old shifts again.

oh! i thought i recognized the picture. This is ::...drumroll...:: Ruthanne! (i "played trumpet" spring semester..)

Sadly though, i'm not in the OCMB this year--i plan on being suave anyway.

Decafe jobs fill extremely quickly. I suggest you email Dawn Cole asap (Dawn.Cole@oberlin.edu) specifying which shifts you are requesting. She has already begun making the schedule for the upcoming year, and it will be tough to grab "good" shifts after Sept. 6th, when confirmation of shifts begins. You should have, btw, had an opportunity to fill out an orange slip at the conclusion of last semester to request a retainder of your job; if you didn't get one last spring, just be aware this spring of this new thing that CDS is doing.

Also, if you can't get a job from Dawn, remember to check with Gina; she will be proactive about emailing returners that she likes, as opposed to Dawn, who is more interested in just filling the shift. (Gina.Fusco@oberlin.edu).
