i recently realized that i love you, but i know you'd be disappointed and terrified if you knew. and if i actually wrote your name here it would be obvious who this is. the funny thing is that i once heard you remark about how you were never mentioned on the confessional. ha, you just have no idea how many of those abstract ambiguous love letters were about you.

it was the most romantic thing that had ever happened to me, with my greatest unrequited love from Oberlin days, but the punchline is that after ten months of leading me on, she only told me about the other boy AFTER I'd bought my non-refundable tickets to Tokyo

not bitching too much, I do have somebody new this valentines, it's just, I don't think I'm really capable of ever being that much in love ever again, and even if the Obie in Tokyo, the one I still do love beyond reason, changed her mind, I could never trust her again
