Located at 121 E. College St, Fuller Co-operative is owned and operated by OSCA Properties Inc. It has 6 bedrooms, two common spaces, 2 bathrooms with showers, and one bathtub. There is some parking available behind the house. Rent is $245/month utilities included. OSCA Properties is taking applications (first come first serve) for three available spots.
A housing cooperative is a member owned and controlled property. It is a democratic organization where the members make political and economic decisions. One benefit of this system is that out of the utility budget, whatever isn't spent on utilities is refunded to you at the end of the year. Membership is open to any member of the Oberlin community. Student applicants are responsible for their own off-campus housing status.
An application is required and is available across the hall from the OSCA office, 402 Wilder Hall. Applications for next year will only be accepted during our office hours Monday - Thursday 12:30PM - 4:00PM. Applications left outside of the office WILL NOT be accepted. A security deposit of $245 is required to sign a lease. OSCA Properties works to provide low-income housing, therefore if you are a student please bring a copy of your Oberlin financial aid award letter and your student aid report. If you are a community member you will need to bring your annual federal income tax return form 1040 (for prior year) and if you receive any support from your parents or other relatives or guardians, include their tax returns as well.
