Why a community? Well, I really liked isolde13's story, "This is Not a Love Song," and wanted more, but she had written it as a one-shot and had no plans to continue. She said other people could play in her sandbox, so I wrote a backstory for it (which she approved before I posted it). Then I wrote a follow-up based on a book I was reading. By then it was getting really hard to explain simply how they were all connected, so I made a community to stick them all in, plus stories by other people based on the same original.
