So's i felt like finally introducing myself. My name is Tania i just turned 21yrs (yay legal finally)
I live in the middle of manhattan & im fairly new to lolita, i dont wear it often just on occasion for the fact
that i dont have alot to wear lol on a daily bases and because i dont want to get it dirty ^^
Im transfering to a new college pursuing a new major, id like to make friends ^^ or mayb if there's a local meetup like there was at matsuri, kinokuniya etc it b nice to meet more lolis close in the 5 boroughs.
But for the time being ill b flying out before the end of july ^^
Mayb ill post a pic or 2 me wearing some loli on top of the aztec pyramids :D

I live on Long Island and I lov going shopping in the city in fact I will be shopping in Manhatten this Sunday with several of my friends and fellow lolitas if anyone would like to join us. the date is July 5th. 20 senators publicly stated their support for equal marriage, 32 are needed to pass the bill. Please check this list and contact your state senator and urge them to support marriage equality for all couples.
Marriage is a civil rights issue, nobody should be denied the 1,800 state and federal benefits that come with marriage, such as the right to visit a loved one in a hospital, file joint tax returns, co-adopt kids, and many other rights and privileges enjoyed by heterosexual couples. |

| Calling Upstate Lolitas! |

I thought I'd mention that there is a new group targeted at Upstate New Yorkers that dress in lolita Fashion. It's called ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) rochesterlolita since majority of the active members are in Rochester. That's also where most of the meetups take place but it is open to all upstaters. We have some great lolitas that travel across state from places like Steuben county, Syracuse and Buffalo to join in on the fun. We try to have meetups as regularly as possible and aren't limited to having them in just Rochester. Beyond meetups we have Group Orders and some wonderfully crafty people that make sweets jewelry and the like.
With that said, I'd like to invite any upstate lolitas to join the group and hopefully come to our next meetup!

Hi,
I just wanted to invite everyone to come on down to Kinokuna book store
in NYC this Saturday June 6th for a chance to be featured on the Gothic
Lolita Bible website, win kawai prizes, preview new films and eat sweets.
I think this is a great chance for local lolitas to be nationally showcased.
I’ll be photographing upstairs from 1-2, since we’ll only have an hour I’ll
set up before hand so we can start at 1 sharp.

live on the weee tail end of Long Island, that
little dingleberry of land off of NY main.
Im dieing to meet up with some fellow lolitas,
take photos or what not. But it seems like all
of the meetups are all or almost all in the city.
(That is one hell of a treck to make by yourself lol)
So i was just curious if there were any lolitas
living on Longisland or interested hanging out at
one of our pretty arboretums or what not? |

| Lolita in Essex, New York? |

I'm looking for a lolita who lives around Essex and Rivington, New York. My mother, Cookie (yeah... her name XD), works around there cleaning the streets and told me she met a lolita, there along with two other people. She's 19 my mom told me and that she was very interested in meeting me since not many in New york know what lolita is. My mom hasn't seen her for a while and I've been dying to meet her! I was hoping you may be on one of the lolita community so I can get in contact.
I would like to be friends with any lolitas in NYC ^_^
