| Challenges will last approximately 3 weeks, with submission being 2 full weeks, and voting 1 week. Tenitively the schedule is as follows: - Entries for Current Challenge Due by 8pm Pacific (Daylight or Standard Time) - Voting and New Challenge Posted (or so we hope) Saturday Night - Voting ends at 8pm Pacific (Daylight or Standard Time) depending on amount of votes - Winners announced (again, we hope) disclaimer: timeline depends on the amount of real!life the mods have to deal with |

| - You must be a member of numb3rs_stills in order to enter challenges - Icons must be new and original, and never posted anywhere else before - Icons must conform to LiveJournal standards: must be 100x100px, not exceed 40kb, and either jpg or png format - Only images provided for each specific challenge may be used, unless otherwise stated - You may blend more than one image, but only using the images posted. You cannot add any other images to your icon - Brushes, textures, backgrounds, and text are always welcome. But please, NO ANIMATED ICONS. |

| - Please upload your icons to photobucket.com, imageshack is too unreliable. If you have a paid LiveJournal account, you can also upload your icons to your Scrapbook. - Submit your icons as a comment to the challenge post. Comments will be screened - Icons must be submitted in the following format, please submit HTML Code (aka IMG SRC) and the Direct Link (aka URL). Also, for the sack of less scrolling on our part, be sure to space the images as follows, and put the urls under all the images. Therefor if you submit 4 icons you will have 1 line of icons, and 4 lines of url. Thanks! - Usernames, first/last names or other clues to the identity of the icon maker are not allowed in the icon file names (usernames or names in the LINK is fine, the icons are uploaded to our comm photobucket account. It is only the file name that poses a problem.) | - You must have an LJ account to vote, however you don't have to be a member of numb3rs_stills, nor have participated in the challenge - Voting will happen through a poll where the details are available to the mod only - Starting with challenge 19, the point system will be abolished. Voters will be asked to vote for at least one but up to three icons in a "general" category (all votes will carry the same weights) and one icon in a special category of the week (color, text, crop, effect or similar) - Do Not vote for yourself, nor ask friends to vote for you - Voting categories will include overall favorite icons, the challenge's special category, Mod's Choice, and Critic's Choice. The Critic's Choice is a Member's Choice category. The member that won Mod's Choice the week before, will be the Critic for the next week. Aas the critic you leave a reason for why you choose your #1 favorite. |
